GZTEX Participated in the Online Forum of China-Pakistan Textile Cooperation

　　During the period of COVID-19 epidemic and economic downturn, China-Pakistan Textile Cooperation Online Forum opened on 4th February, hosted by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel (CCCT) and Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai. This online forum committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges and deepening bilateral cooperation.

　　Besty Luhu, Director of Pakistan Trade Development Authority, CAO Jiachang, President of CCCT, and Hussein Haider, Consulate General of Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai presented at the meeting. GZTEX has been invited to attend.

　　During the meeting, the organizer firstly delivered a keynote speech which introduced the cooperation opportunities with the Free Trade Agreement and China-Pakistan Corridor, and the status quo of China-Pakistan textile trade. Enterprise representatives from Pakistan then introduced the situation of economic and trade on textile garment in Pakistan.

　　GUAN Yong, board chairman and general manager of GZTEX, delivered a speech on the cooperation and outlook of textile garment between Guangdong and Pakistan on behalf of Chinese enterprises. He pointed out that trade outlook of cotton yarn, grey cloth and fabric between Guangdong and Pakistan is promising by taking the advantages of textile market and resources and strengthening the complementarity and connection of industry chain resources during Post-epidemic era. In addition, textile and garment manufacturing-industry can not only further bolster cooperation but also realize mutual benefit between China and Pakistan.
